Vallourec inaugurates its new sales office in Rio de Janeiro
On August 19, Vallourec celebrated the opening of its brand new sales Brazilian office in Rio de Janeiro. This space has been designed to strengthen the relationship between company’s employees, customers, suppliers and partners, in the heart of one of Brazil’s most emblematic cities.
Located in the heart of downtown Rio de Janeiro, with one of the most breathtaking views in the world, from Sugarloaf Mountain to Christ the Redeemer, the new premises have been designed and fitted out to provide an optimal working environment for the Vallourec team. The main objective of this project is to foster exceptional collaboration and performance, while offering a place of reference to welcome customers and partners.
Vallourec has always been synonymous with excellence and innovation, and this new sales office in Rio de Janeiro is no exception. It is destined to become a central pillar in Vallourec’s operations in Brazil, strengthening its presence in this strategic region for the Group.
After an opening celebrated locally in August by employees, Philippe Guillemot and Bertrand Frischmann, who were in Brazil this week, officially inaugurated the new premises with André Lacerda, Rodrigo Rennó and Bruno Gontijo.

During the visit, our management team also met with local teams, assessed first-hand the progress of the mine extension and visited several of our flagship facilities, such as the new corrosion laboratory.
