Vallourec China Receives Two Prestigious Awards at the Changzhou New Energy Conference
At the end of September, Vallourec China was honored at the New Energy Industry Development & Invest in Changzhou Conference, receiving the Outstanding Contribution to Foreign-Invested Enterprises Award and an additional award in the field of Green Energy. Amanda Tan, General Manager of Vallourec China, accepted these prestigious awards on behalf of the company.
Under the theme “Energy Connects the World, Invest in the Future,” the conference gathered, in the presence of Ma Xin, Executive vice governor of the provincial government, and Shan Zhongde, Vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, global experts, domestic & international business leaders, and financial institutions to discuss innovation and growth opportunities within the new energy sector. Held in Changzhou, a leading city in renewable energy development, the event attracted over 500 attendees, including provincial leaders, academicians, and representatives from both public and private sectors.
Vallourec’s Outstanding Contribution award recognizes the company’s ongoing impact and sustainability initiatives in the region, while the Green Energy award underscores the government’s recognition of Vallourec’s commitment to environmental progress.
In the coming years, Vallourec’s China aims to drive innovation, respond to evolving customer needs, and work closely with partners across the energy sector to contribute to the global energy transition.
