Women’s Month at Vallourec in Brazil was a period of great connection, dialogue and female empowerment. Throughout the month, several conversation circles were carefully organized to strengthen the presence and voice of the women on our team, promoting an environment of trust, psychological safety and professional development.

“Entre Elas” (“Among them”) has become an incredible space for exchange and learning, where essential topics such as gender equality, daily challenges, professional positioning and the impact of women’s decisions at Vallourec were discussed with great enthusiasm during the meetings.

For Amanda São José, area manager at Line Pipe Project Execution, “Entre Elas” not only provided a welcoming and safe environment for exchanging knowledge but also served as an incentive for the team’s growth and professional development, highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion within the company.

It is inspiring to see the company’s commitment to gender equality, translated into concrete actions that promote balance between men and women, including leadership positions, and that respect and value diversity in all its forms. I believe that by strengthening bonds between women, we are contributing to a more inclusive and fair future, both in the corporate environment and in society

The strength of “Entre Elas” at Vallourec

When we come together, we are stronger! By creating a space for dialogue and development, “Entre Elas” boosts the self-confidence and assertiveness of the women on our team. This strengthens the female presence and promotes an even more balanced and fair work environment.

“Participating in “Entre Elas” was a wonderful opportunity to establish genuine connections with several women, in a safe and welcoming environment. We share experiences, exchange ideas and support each other. With each meeting, we become more aware of the challenges we face in predominantly male work environments, while celebrating our similarities, achievements and reflecting on ways to move forward in the pursuit of equal opportunities. I am grateful to be part of a company that lives these principles authentically and consistently”, highlights Amanda São José.

Did you see? “Entre Elas” not only contributed to a more inclusive environment but also increased the perception of belonging and engagement of the women on our team. With these initiatives, we continue to build a stronger Vallourec that is committed to diversity!
