The Changzhou Economic and Trade Delegation Meets Vallourec with a Focus on New Energies
During their visit to France, Chen Jinhu, Secretary of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, and the Changzhou Economic and Trade Delegation met with Vallourec group management at the Meudon headquarters in France, end of May 24. The meeting not only focused on commercial objectives, but also provided an opportunity to discuss future cooperation in developing the new energies industry, with a special focus on the hydrogen sector.
Vallourec was represented by Philippe Carlier, Senior Vice-President Group Industry and Eastern Hemisphere, Amanda Tan, General Manager of Vallourec in China, Vincent Designolle, Head of hydrogen activities, and Jean Comby, Director of Business Operations within the New Energies division. They presented the Group, shared its development plans for 2024 and beyond, highlighting its strategic direction and advances in new energies and hydrogen.
The Changzhou Economic and Trade Delegation took the opportunity of this meeting to set out the Changzhou government’s active support for the development of new energy enterprises. Participants emphasized their intention to strengthen collaboration and support in the fields of technical R&D, marketing and policy. This promises to be a powerful catalyst for the development of the new energy industry.
Both parties also discussed and exchanged information on innovations, applications, market trends, policies and the technological context of new energies. This meeting has strengthened mutual understanding and trust, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
