Vallourec’s EXCOM Visits China
Beginning of March, Executive Committee recently concluded a multi-day visit to China, engaging in strategic meetings and connecting with local teams at the Tianda plants in Chuzhou and Changzhou, as well as at the VCHA forge.
This visit provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between the Group’s various entities and to showcase Vallourec’s technological advancements and future development plans in China. During an industrialization seminar, participants delved into the latest regional trends and the challenges faced by the company. They closely observed the innovations and technologies employed to optimize production processes, alongside the implementation of lean management practices on site.
Discussions spanned a range of topics, including operational and financial performance, the review of diversification projects, the 2025 development and investment plans, and quality initiatives. Special emphasis was placed on the premiumization strategy adopted by the Group in China, highlighting its significance for Vallourec’s future growth.
In Chuzhou, the Executive Committee also met with local authorities, who underscored the dynamic of industrial modernization and economic development that Vallourec brings to the city.
